Last night, I was feeding the girls. Lately, Emma has been eating a ton and we think Kate's new teeth are bothering her. Since Kate hadn't eaten anything, I got out some yogurt just to get something in her. Well, Emma evidently wanted some. She dropped what she had, lifted her hands, said "All done!" several times clear as a bell, and then started to try to help me take her tray off of her chair. I guess food inspires us all to do great things.

So, it works but you still have to be an authorized user. So if you aren't a "Friend" or a "Family" (sounds like MCI doesn't it) you can't view this. Email me if you want to join my friends list or my family list.

So, I'm going to try posting my YouTube video of Emma. Maybe it will work...

God sent James a birthday present this morning. SNOW! He went in late to work just because the Floridian and Georgian in us were too excited about it. I would say we got 2 inches maybe. I'm not expert snow measurer though. Here are a few pictures of the winter wonderland it created in our yard. The girls loved it, especially Kate who screamed and cried whenever we came back inside. She would love to have stayed out there and just watched it. They both would hold out their hands like they wanted to catch it and though it never stayed on their hands it would cover their jackets. At one point it was coming down pretty heavy and we both agree thats probably as close to a "blizzard" as we'll ever see here. I don't think I've ever seen that much snow falling but it might have been nothing to a northerner.

The last time snow fell where I was living, I was 8 and we did this on top of the old Mazda truck (yes the same one that James and I then owned when I was 25). I guess it's a tradition now... if doing something every 16 years can be one.

Kate and James. She kept holding out her arm the entire time we were out there. I think its funny that they had learned the sign for snow off of a signing time DVD and had obviously never used it or seen it but they both started signing it once we said what it was. It's amazing how much they already have stored up in those heads.

I have loaded more photos of snow and of the girls playing at:
