It's time to announce that Martin Nation (as someone once called us) is growing. We are expecting only one addition this time to the group. This new little person should be delivered a little after Valentines day '08. We are all very excited, though a little on the sleepy side as first trimester woes set in.

James was a little disappointed that it was only one little person, but for me dealing with 2 two year olds all day long I'm thrilled at the idea of only one person pitching a fit at a time!!
I will get more beach pictures up soon for any of you wanting them.
Hello from Hilton Head. We are having a great time, I think we brought someone else kids though. The two little girls that came with us are loving the water and wanting to spend all day in it. This is not a normal thing... We keep forgeting to take the camera down to the beach but we have a few pictures from the pool. This morning the ocean was calm so the girls went out with us and spent over an hour "swimming". James kept finding things on the bottom for them to look at so we saw lots of starfish, sand dollars, a few conchs, a hermit crab and a stick. The stick was a favorite of Emma's! I think it even came back with us in the wagon. The girls have a great catch and release policy though and they would look at it for a few seconds and then throw it down into the water. Poor James took a lot longer to find them than they spent looking but they all really enjoyed it.

I thought I would get up a few pictures for you before we leave for the beach. These are off my Dad's camera so sorry for any family that might have already seen them. The first is Emma with a very toothy grin. Emma is our smiler and has now learn to "smile" for pictures though it is really showing you all her teeth more than smiling. The second is of Grammy giving the girls a ride in a very southern backwoods kinda way. Not many city kids grew up having rides in a wheelbarrow I bet. The girls loved it though.
We are all excited about the beach trip that starts tomorrow. The girls have done great the last two times we have taken them out to Lake Murray to swim so we are hoping that is a good sign of what is to come next week. Any water action though is better than past years where we just played in the sand. I hope to post some pictures at the beach if connections will allow, it will be dial up so it might depend on our patience more than the connection.
