Today is a special day, Emma and Kate are 3!! Yes it's special because it's a birthday, but I think its more to be celebrated because James and I survived having 2 two year olds. I know that they aren't magically going to act better but something about having a two year old seems more daunting. So maybe psychologically we will feel less stressed. Mary gave me a present in honor of their birth, she slept 6 hours last night without waking!!! I don't expect it again but it was a very nice surprise.
I'll get birthday pictures posted tomorrow. The girls had a blast playing with their new wheel barrows and yard tools.

It's been a while, but it feels like not much has changed. Mary still likes to eat at all hours and the other two like to play all day. I do have a picture for you. Other news not kid related is that work has started on replacing on our roof. It is very strange to be inside and hear everything going on above you but because most of the roof is three stories up it isn't that bad. Whenever I go up to our bedrooms to get something though it is very different. Just went up to Mary's room to lay her down and loud country music was coming from her room... not the first thing you think a newborn would want to listen too... they had put their radio resting on her window sill. Guess she will be napping in my arms for the morning. For the afternoon we will be invading Grandma's house who is out of town. Come next Monday though when they are finishing up I don't know where we will go.
